There are a LOT of reasons for this one. No matter how many megapixels your phone has, the processor is still not very good. It's like putting rocket fuel in a Prius. You can't race just because of high octane.
There's also the arm factor. You have to really streeeeeeetch out your arm to get everyone in frame and at that you can't always get everyone lined up properly for a proper photo. Unless you want to run back and forth or not be in the photo at all.
The editing on cell phone pictures messes them up very easily and you can't get them to have a good professional clean and smooth appearance.
